Play Area Attendant
Location: Nampa, ID
Hours: Flexible part-time, 2-5 hour shifts between 9 AM–4 PM weekdays, 10 AM–6 PM weekends
Pay: Dependent on experience and qualifications. Pay is based on prior relevant experience, certifications, and skills.
About the Position:
Lume Enrichment is seeking a warm, friendly, and reliable Play Area Attendants to help create a welcoming environment for families in our indoor play space. This role is perfect for someone who loves children, enjoys chatting with parents, and takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and joyful environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Check-In:
- Greet families warmly as they arrive
- Check in guests and assist with waiver completion
- Upsell memberships and punch cards when appropriate
Customer Engagement:
- Make conversation with caregivers to build community
- Be kind, playful, and attentive to children while they play (without providing direct supervision)
Cleaning & Maintenance:
- Perform light cleaning and setup tasks before opening
- Tidy the play area, sanitize surfaces, and keep the space organized during shifts
- Complete closing cleaning tasks (sweeping, mopping, resetting toys, trash removal) at the end of the day
Support Lume’s Mission:
- Maintain a positive, welcoming environment aligned with our child-centered philosophy
- Follow safety and cleanliness procedures consistently
What We’re Looking For:
- Friendly and approachable, enjoys interacting with children and families
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable promoting memberships/punch cards to guests
- Able to perform light physical tasks (cleaning, lifting up to 25 lbs)
- Previous experience with children or customer service is a plus
- Must be 18+ and able to pass a background check
